Paris Art Week is on through Sunday, with art fairs and special exhibitions all over the City of Light.

The 9^th edition of Drawing Now Paris continues through Saturday at Le Carreau du Temple (below). In this huge 19^th-century cast iron covered market, contemporary drawing takes center stage, with 80 international galleries gathered inside the great hall—including Pablo’s Birthday and Andrew Edlin Gallery, both from New York. Information.

This afternoon there will be a symposium on Outsider Art, hosted by Philippe Piguet, the fair’s artistic director. Information.

Drawing now / Le Parcours (the Route) is a program that brings together modern and contemporary drawing exhibitions in museums, art centers, foundations and private collections in Paris and environs. Included this year are Fondation Cartier, Bibliothèque nationale de France / François Mitterrand, Centre Pompidou, La Cinémathèque française, Goethe-Institut, and musée du quai Branly, to name just a few. 

Meanwhile, a 10-minute stroll from musée du Louvre will land you at Le Grand Palais for Art Paris Art Fair, where Singapore and Southeast Asia are the 2015 guests of honor. Like Frieze London and New York, Art Paris also features new international talents including this year 12 galleries that are under 5 years old and taking part in this fair for the first time. In addition, the fair has a section that explores the relationship between design and contemporary art. Information.

This year, The Waterfall project, created by team-Lab will transform the façade of the Grand Palais into a giant digital cascade with fictitious water bouncing off the building’s precisely detailed glass and cast iron face (top). Beyond the fairs, one of Time Out Paris' top picks for this weekend is an exhibition of photographs by William Klein from 1960s Tokyo. Polka Galerie, Cour de Venises, 12 rue Saint-Gilles, 3e—not far from Le Carreau du Temple.
